Business Flows

Business Flow Overview:

A business flow is a structured process that links the pickup and delivery of items or messages to create a cohesive business transaction.

1. Pickup from Sender:

Description:
The process begins by virtually collecting a digital message from the sender. This initial step ensures that the required information or item is ready to enter the business flow.

2. Transformation Code Application:

Description:
Next, a predefined transformation or processing code is applied to the business flow. This step may involve data processing, reformatting, labeling, or other necessary modifications to prepare the item or message for delivery.

3. Delivery to Receiver:

Description:
Finally, the transformed message is delivered to the receiver. The system then completes the transaction, marking the business flow with a final status to signify that the process is successfully concluded.

Data Transformation

Data transformation between EDIFACT, XML, and JSON involves converting structured data from one format to another for compatibility across systems. EDIFACT uses segments and delimiters typical of EDI, while XML and JSON use hierarchical and key-value structures, respectively.

The process includes parsing the source data, mapping elements to the target format, transforming using tools or scripts, validating against schemas, and handling any errors.

This transformation capability in Sprintly Exchange enables  systems to interact with modern applications and APIs.
